We saw this bird of prey on a golf course in central Alberta near the beginning of September. I am always fascinated when these magnificent birds stop long enough for me to get a good look at them. I suspect a Hawk as there did not seem to be a source for fish really close for it to be an Osprey. Although at this distance my identification skills are marginal.
