Every year we find sunflowers growing in our garden. While the bird feeder is quite a distance from the garden, the sunflowers must be a result of the birds. After the sunflower plants are well established I transplant them in a row and then the birds actually feed on the flowers as they mature. Quite a cycle we have going.
