This juvenile Grey Jay was quite aggressive. We laid out supper on the picnic table and he thought it would be a good idea to join us. I screeched and he reconsidered. My Grandfather used to call these birds Whiskey Jacks. He claimed they would steal anything that they could in the camps he used to work in.  Their nick name is ‘camp robbers’.
