We made it to kilometre 1294, mile 804 on the Alaska Highway! Teslin was a meeting place of the Tlingit Tribe from southern Alaska. I am amazed by the lifestyle these people must have. Isolated and without some of the modern enimities yet we had cell phone service as well as internet. The Teslin lake is 125 kms long but only just over 3 kms wide and the bridge is the longest span on the entire Alaska highway.
