From 28 above celsius to snow the next day according to the locals. That must be the explanation for Alberta roses in bloom already. I know back in Grande Prairie the roses are not this far along. I suspect the climate is similar in Ft Nelson to what it is in Grande Prairie but maybe the combination of longer days and a warmer spring allows faster growth.

  1. Wow. We don’t even have roses yet in Calgary. Not sure we even have any buds on the bushes…
