On the road to Alaska! First stop after Beaverlodge (to golf of course) is Taylor, BC. The forecast is rain so we thought we would hole up for a day or so. We are at the Peace Island Park right next to the mighty Peace River. They have nature trails that follow along the river. There a a few very large birch trees which is amazing when you see what the woodpeckers can do to them as they lay out their bug trap lines.
