This beaver didn’t seem the least bit disturbed that we were so near. This was taken at Carson-Pegasus Provincial Park near Whitecourt a couple of years ago. I didn’t realize that beavers burrow in the banks of rivers and lakes and build dams when this isn’t available. No wonder we didn’t see a beaver dam.
