Stretching for Show

The elegance and beauty of these birds amazes me. I was pleased to be able to capture this pair of swans and the short performance they gave me was excellent. Made almost extinct by early settlers who hunted them for their feathers and meat a breeding population survived just west of Grande Prairie and was probably ancestors of these swans.
